This is day 8 of the Santa Claus Rally which we feel is going to be more and more fuelled by High Frequency traders. As we predicted yesterday there was indeed a move up followed by a slight donward movement today. This is normal in any rally. HFTS want your money so they will turn the market here and there in order to run stops clear out long traders etc. If you thought the move would be one huge solid move upwards only you would be mistaken.
Think of it like steps, it will make a big step up then a small step down before continuing upwards. The high in September was 1468 so we think that in all reason isa possible target at the very least.
